Throughout my life, my educational experiences have ranged from memorable to painful, and I have made it my personal objective to ensure that my own students’ experiences in my classroom be one they remember as encouraging and exciting.  Children are born with innate curiosity and creativity, and my role as an instructor is to guarantee that my classroom will be a place where that curiosity and creativity can grow.  I am dedicated to creating actively engaged, lifelong learners, and I firmly believe that knowledge is power and education can provide everyone with more choices in life.  While my disabilities have limited my physical life and ability to participate in most social activities, I am hopeful the Alinker Walking Bike will be the tool needed to open my life to once again engaging more fully in activities in and around the school campus.
