On April 2nd, our dear friend, Mark Lee got into a severe scooter accident in Ubud, Bali. On his way home from his studio, a parked car suddenly opened its door into traffic and hit Mark as he was riding past.

Mark has a critical head injury with bleeding around the brain.  He underwent surgery to relieve the pressure and drain the blood. The surgery was successful. He is stable although still on a respirator, we are waiting for him to wake up. His left hand is broken, that will require surgery when he is more stable. When he wakes up he will require at least ten days of intensive care following at least 3 months rehabilitation.

The costs are rising as the days go by. Everything must be paid in advanced because he does not have health insurance. We need to pay for the surgery, hospital ICU care, rehabilitation, ambulance, rent and living expenses for the next few months as well as any additional doctor visits and medicines for the trauma to his head and hand injuries.

This is an extremely stressful time for him and his family.

For those who don't know Mark, he is one of the most kind hearted, beautiful and gentle souls. He has the biggest heart and is the most gifted visionary artist / inventor / architect / designer.
His breathtaking futuristic visions and creations are advancing humanity and the world to a better, more beautiful place.

Throughout this stressful period, his friends and family remain hopeful and resilient. We are raising the money to help Mark to pay for these expenses and assist him for a full recovery during and after hospital.
