Hi everyone, my name is Veda and I'm 6 years old. I have a really special story to share with you about a dog named Iris.
One day, my family and I went to a rescue shelter in Singapore to look for a furry friend to adopt. That's when we met Iris. Iris is a Singapore Special, which means she was rescued by a really amazing group of people who help dogs in Singapore. ASD - Action for Singapore Dogs rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs in Singapore. Their goal is to find loving forever homes for these dogs, like they did for Iris.

She was a shy and timid dog, but her big black eyes looked straight into my heart and I knew she was the one for us. She is the sweetest dog ever and she loves to play and cuddle. When we first met Iris, she was a bit scared and unsure of herself. But with lots of love and patience, she has become the happiest dog ever! She is always there to comfort us when we're feeling sad or upset, and she loves to play with me. We even taught her some tricks, like how to sit and stay!

I want to help other dogs like Iris find their forever homes too. That's why I'm asking for your help. Instead of birthday presents, I'm raising money for ASD - Action for Singapore Dogs. They are the ones who rescued Iris and helped us adopt her. They do amazing work helping dogs in Singapore, and they need our help to keep doing it.
