Team Reggie hasn't added a story.
We are the members of the former CHAMPION trivia team, The Buzz All-wins:
- Anna
- Shannon
- Brad
- Emma
- Reggie <-- we're here to talk about this guy.
Our buddy Reggie is the greatest trivia player we know.
Seriously, it's almost annoying. Most nights, we'd just have to show up and drink while Reggie did everything. Terrible.
But it's nowhere near as annoying as it used to be... because Reggie hasn't come to trivia in over a year.

Reggie is a paramedic suffering from PTSD.
The story behind Reggie's struggle with PTSD is his own to share if he chooses to. The important part is, while we'd noticed a major change in our friend, it was only after his diagnosis that we truly realized the extent of his suffering.
Reggie is the most kind-hearted soul most of us have met. Once, he woke up from a midday nap, after returning from his shift at 7am that morning, to take his friend Ingrid's dog to the vet when the kennel called to say it was ill, and Ingrid was out of town for work. No questions asked, no hesitation. We have dozens of similar stories.
Now it's our turn. Reggie has been finding the day-to-day increasingly unbearable, and a year ago decided to pull from trivia because the enjoyment was no longer there. We miss our friend, but we are heartbroken to see his suffering even more. For Reggie to pull out of trivia is a huge deal (Who else would randomly know what a female donkey is called??).
Reggie is currently on disability and attempting to work through his PTSD. He and his wife connected with Epiphany360 and crafted a phenomenal treatment plan for him.
We ask of you - friends and families of ours and Reggie's - to think of something you would greatly miss if you simply did not have the energy, heart, and enjoyment of it that you once did. How badly would you want to remember your old self?
Reggie has risked a lot to keep our loved ones and us safe and cared for, and now it's our turn. We've renamed our trivia group 'Team Reggie,' and all of our earnings are going toward this campaign. We believe this truly holds the answer for not only Reggie but every first responder out there with treatment-resistant PTSD. We still need your help, though!
And Reggie plans on documenting his journey! So keep an eye on this campaign for updates on his progress, and hopefully, we'll soon be celebrating another trivia win (as we try to keep from rolling our eyes at him).
THANK YOU FROM REGGIE, TEAM REGGIE, AND REGGIE'S FAMILY!
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
PLEDGE TO THIS CAMPAIGN - Your card/account will ONLY be charged if we hit our goal; then, all contributions are processed and sent DIRECTLY to Epiphany360.
SHARE THIS CAMPAIGN WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY -The more people you share with, the higher our chances of success. There are lots of options above to click and easily share to a few emails or Facebook friends.
The Crowd Financing Option
Through crowd-financing with CoCoPay™, families collaborate with their social networks to help fund the Epiphany360 program for a first responder. The family (or a helpful friend) registers a crowdfunding campaign and shares it via email, social media, or direct messages. They craft a story about how this particular person's life will change, then collect online pledges from those in their networks who wish to help.
What happens when I click 'Contribute'?
People pledge using a credit card, bank card, or PayPal account. The campaign runs for a set time, and if it reaches its goal, the payment provider completes the charges, and the funds go directly to Epiphany360. The family and the supporters won’t incur any costs if the campaign falls short of the goal. All pledges are cancelled in that case. But CoCoPay coaches families to provide the best opportunity for success!
Epiphany360& CoCoPay both have the same goal: to provide these programs to first responders who need them without adding further fees.
When you contribute, you will see an option to top up your pledge, which helps keep CoCoPay’s platform and coaching services free for users. This is entirely optional and will also only be charged if the campaign reaches its goal. Through your generosity, more first responders get the financial and physical help and support they need to be successful in the program without risking hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars in interest charges.
For more information, check out the FAQ and the About Us tabs.
Thank you for taking the time to read about the crowd-financing process with CoCoPay!
This campaign allows supporters (i.e. you!) to fund a necessary device or procedure for someone with a medical need. Funds from friends and family members are collected here and sent directly to Epiphany360, meaning your contribution is secure and worry-free.
Contributions are initially pledges and are ONLY processed into transactions if the campaign reaches its goal. Then, Epiphany360 receives their funds, and a first responder receives a chance to get their life back!
If the campaign does not reach its goal, no transactions occur. Supporters and [beneficiary] will not incur any costs.
Frequently asked questions:
-
When will I be charged?
When the campaign reaches its goal, Stripe or PayPal processes your payment. Processing usually occurs within a few weeks but can sometimes happen right away if the campaign funds quickly.
-
Do I get a tax receipt for my contribution?
Unfortunately not. Funds collected here are purchasing a service on behalf of someone without being handled by a registered nonprofit or charity. Therefore, contributions do not qualify for a tax receipt .
-
Who pays the costs of this campaign?
The campaign is responsible for the fundraising fees. You can help achieve this goal faster by paying the portion of the fees associated with your contribution on their behalf. Covering fees is entirely optional but truly helps these first responders even further.
-
How long will the campaign run?
Campaigns run until they hit their funding goal. If the beneficiary and their support team decide the campaign is not likely to fund, they can stop it anytime, and payments are NOT processed. Your contribution is, therefore, risk-free, and we encourage you to add your pledge immediately, as this inspires others to follow!
-
Does the money go to the campaign owner or the company?
The funds are collected on behalf of our first responders directly by Epiphany360. When the campaign collects enough pledges to reach its goal, Epiphany360 receives funds to be applied directly to the first responder's invoice. This process removes concerns about the campaign not reaching its goal or the funds being accidentally misallocated.

Statistics tell us that 25% to 50% of people suffer from mental health issues. For first responders... it's 85%. |
Why is this happening? | What can be done? | Their every day can involve experiencing other people’s worst nightmares. There doesn't need to be one harrowing incident to kindle PTSD, depression, substance abuse disorder, or suicide ideation. Those everyday experiences build memories that pile on like layers of paint. This creates complex trauma that often goes unresolved and builds a strong path in the brain from trigger to undesirable, negative response, with no other route to take. | Treating mental health illnesses and diseases involves building new pathways and responses. This way, when a trigger is present, that’s the pathway the brain now follows. We train the brain to process that trigger as something unharmful. | ![]() | ![]() |
The Epiphany360 Solution
Our mission is to use technology and
science-backed treatment therapies to help 'rebuild' these pathways.
This will not happen overnight. It's a journey.
Our program was designed by experts in leadership, mental
health and well-being, and have worked together for years. They
realized that first responders need a program that integrates all
the elements that they require to meet their full potential in one place.
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Pick a goal | Mark a location | Start the journey | Follow progress | Every first responder chooses their path, whether improving health and well-being, loving their job, or improving relationships. | You can't measure progress unless you mark your starting point! We collect data from each participant with an assessment specially created from years of research. Better data and fewer questions! | The hardest part is often just taking that first step. We put together the right resources to set first responders up for success. | We aren't looking for perfection, just progress. We follow along with our first responders on their journeys from good to better. |
