We have available Mediums and Happy Smalls, ships in 2-3 weeks, the Small Alinkers will take 12-16 weeks to be delivered to you. The new order are all Smalls and with our manufacturer and you on our side, we are sure this order is happening.

All the PERKS and how it works

When you want to order a Happy Small, a Small or a Medium, click on the images on the right for each size. Minimum inseam for each size is: Happy Small - 22", Small - 27", Medium 32".  Once you click your size Alinker, you will find two links one for the USA, the other for Canada. These links will redirect you to the website where shipping and applicable taxes will be calculated, and the USD$800 / CAD$1000 will automatically be deducted from the final order.  We will add the amount to the campaign so it shows the total being raised.

These two options are for people who have the means to support us with a donation, a loan, or for much larger sums, we can talk about equity in the company, we are open for any collaboration to make it work. A donation box has a special deal in it, open it up and see. The one for two deal is for you if you have the means to buy one for yourself, and one to donate to a person of your choice, or we can source amongst the people we have on the waiting list for the campaigns. 

What you can do more:

Why we cannot disappear

This is a comment from an Alinker user we see many times. 

Overview of the situation

Let us take you on a journey behind the scenes: 

• The year just before and into the pandemic was a great year, so with the impact of the pandemic, Alinker had funds to incur the changes during the pandemic; prices went up, shipping costs went through the roof, and minimum order quantity went up from 150 units to 1000 units, still requiring a 30% payment at time of the order. 
• For a large amount of 1000 units, it became harder to predict the exact quantity proportions for the different sizes. We over ordered the Mediums and did not order enough Smalls. 
• Currently we are running out of Small Alinkers, and have 60 Mediums and 30 HS in stock, with the Smalls accounting for 75% of the sales. 
• Sales have slowed down over the last year since the situation in the US has become rather hostile for importing with aggressive tariffs, and with the economic uncertainty people are more hesitant to spend their money. 
• We need an average of 20 Alinker sold per month to cover our costs (small team on living wages, annual insurance, fulfillment partner, marketing, etc)
• We need an average of 50 Alinkers sold per month, to accumulate sufficient funds to place the next order, so supply and demand is balanced. 
• Lately we have seen sales less than 20 units a month and slowly we had to eat into the reserves from which we usually place orders. 
• So now: we either order 100 Small Alinkers (total cost around USD $110,000 including shipping and import), or we 'slowly' gear towards the end of our company.

General challenges to sell Alinkers and ideas how to overcome this:

• After the algorithms of the online social media platforms shifted to benefit large corporations, making it harder for small companies to reach their customers, AI has further challenged the exposure we get from ads, and it is progressively harder to get exposure and reach our potential customers. On principle we avoid AI as much as we can, as it destroys the planet and only regurgitates the past.
• The biggest challenge for the Alinker has always been the mindset of people, conditioned in a system that diagnosis the symptoms of dis-ease of the body, as a disease and then manages the symptoms with medication.
• How we see healthcare, is giving the body what it needs to be healthy.  We have never been a company that just sells mobility devices, instead we see the Alinker as a vehicle for change, raising awareness about the things that support a healthy constitution with moving, real food, community and brain health.
• Over the years we have provided ways to make mobility, real food, community and brain health accessible, but it takes a lot of effort because we do not fit in the language that people are used to from the sickcare system, which they hear from their doctors or see on the TV with endless ads for medications.
  • We make  mobility accessible  through various ways to get an Alinker; We mindfully decided not to make it a medical device because if it were, it would have to sell for 2 to 3 times as much and we do not participate in that medical device world. We offer 0% rent to own, gently used Alinkers and crowdfunding campaigns on an integrated platform allowing people on disability to do a campaign without being penalized for raising funds (to date there are 257 campaigns completed!)
  • We make  real food accessible  through a partnership with Dr. Nicolette Richer (6 Alinker cohorts completed, with some 45 people in total who reversed their chronic illnesses, reduced their medications and have better sustainable practices supporting their health).
  • We make  community accessible  through weekly zoom calls, an active FB group with 1600 active Alinker users, organize occasional events and moving challenges and BE sends out weekly newsletters.
  • We make  brain health accessible through making people aware of how the Alinker activates the brain, and educating them about neuroplasticity, and organizing weekly listen parties with BE’s brain entrainment music (people’s deep sleep time dramatically increases allowing the restorative processes in the body to work sufficiently)
