Before the accident, Kaydyn was a happy 18 month old - walking, talking and laughing all the time. The accident happened during a family cookout. Things changed for the entire family that day.
Kaydyn's mom performed CPR, keeping Kaydyn alive until paramedics arrived. He was taken to the local hospital, then flown to Shands Gainesvillle for lifesaving care.
Kaydyn now has a c5-c7 spinal cord injury, which prevents him from walking and using his arms. There is hope though. Kaydyn's injury is now classified as an "incomplete" injury. Due to his young age and promising neuroplasticity, Kaydyn is regaining movement in all limbs, and the family is optimistic he will be on his feet again sometime soon!
The family is working to raise funds for the Trexo robotic gait trainer to help Kaydyn get upright and moving, creating important benefits for him. It would also allow his family an opportunity to get their feisty little boy back.
Financial assistance would give Kaydyn the ability to get this device for use in his own home. The ability to walk would allow Kaydyn to experience walking again, to be eye level with his peers and to explore his world. Showing Kaydyn the world is accessible, attainable and welcoming would impact this family more than you know.
The Crowd Financing Option

The family (or a helpful friend) registers a crowdfunding campaign and shares it via email, social media, or direct messages. They craft a story about how a device will change their friend's life, then collect online pledges from those in their networks who wish to help.

People pledge using a credit card, bank card, or PayPal account. The campaign runs for a set time, and the funds go directly to Trexo Robotics. CoCoPay coaches families to provide the best opportunity for success!
Trexo Robotics & CoCoPay both have the same goal to provide these devices to people who need them without adding further fees.
When you contribute, you will see an option to top up your pledge, which helps keep CoCoPay’s platform and coaching services free for the family. Through your generosity, more families get the financial and physical help and support they need to make this a reality for their children without risking hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars in interest charges.
